10. TNG S5E5 Disaster – Impressive sparks but clearly harmless. Monroe doesn’t even flinch.
9. DSC S4E2 Anomaly – Lots of sparks, fire, and gravity issues to boot, but no apparent injuries.
8. Star Trek The Search for Spock – Lots of sparks and smoke but Scotty’s not fazed.
7. ENT S2E3 Minefield – Hoshi takes one for the team.
6. TOS S1E28 The City on the Edge of Forever – Poor Sulu required medical attention after this console explosion.
5. TNG S6E25 Timescape – I don’t know who this guy is but I hope he’s ok.
4. Star Trek Generations – Fortunately Worf and Riker were shielded from injury by those two other guys.
3. DSC S2E14 Such Sweet Sorrow, Part II – Mann gets hit hard by one of the most brutal console explosions on record.
2. DSC S4E13 Coming Home – Lieutenant Christopher gets absolutely wrecked by the Mona Lisa of console explosions. I always imagine it in slow motion with opera music in the background.
1. VOY S1E1 Caretaker, S1E11 State of Flux – The deadliest console explosions are the ones you don’t see. In Caretaker multiple Voyager crew are killed by one. In State of Flux, a console explosion on a Kazon ship kills everyone aboard, fusing some into the bulkheads.
Honorable mention to DS9 Emissary. I don’t know what exploded exactly but this guy sure went flying.
